Literal

“I, Lucy Arellano, affirm that I completed my independent component which represents 30 hours of work.”

During my time with the Nutrition teacher I learn how to count calories, carbs, and what is good to eat and how to cook. During my time teacher he told me to try a diabetic diet plan through the weeks I visit. He told me if it workout then I should use it for a project to see if it really works. I also learn how all the food breaks down and what foods they can eat. I also give a presentation to check for understanding also he show me how to cook. Another day he gave me chicken recipe and told me to try it at home to see if it works. It has no salt in it or sugars of any sort. I add A little spice because my dad loves a little kick. My dad has type 2 diabetes and he loved the chicken. He also showed me what to read on a label. What to watch out for when you are going to buy food. Also the excising I had to do in order to see which one really got my heart pumping. He also gave me textbooks to read that would help out. I also had to follow my plan in order for me to reach my goal. I know Now that I can cook and have no salt in the food. Also learn how to make sugar free Dessert for those diabetics who have a sweet tooth.

Interpretive:

During my nutrition class he gave me different types of diabetes and told me to make a meal plan for them. He told me certain things that they couldn’t eat. This help me out because it give me different foods to list and what to shop for my family. It show me what foods you had to look out for and how to really read a label. He show me how to cook more that home so that I can tell my family what to eat. During my class he wanted me to cook for my dad and meal that was portion size. He made me look at how many ounces I can have and give me a balancer to measure the weight. It was pretty crazy how much you are supposed to eat. It was food made for baby meal. He also give me a text book that I can read online in order to see how the digestive system works. How the food is broken down and what goes in the body. I also read how the carbs can play a big factor. It always show when the fat stores from not eating. Another big project I had to do was make a meal plan for me but I can to follow it for four weeks and weigh my every sun. I had to follow it step by step and do the 1 hour of excise a day. We also learned about the pyramid groups and how it breaks down. What you can have and what you cant have to much of. I learn all this because my EQ  talks about ways to maintain the diabetes. I know now this plays a big part in the actor. I know what they can and cant eat. I show him meals that they can have. I can even show them what kind of sweets they can have and how much of it.

Applied

What you can have and what you cant have to much of. I learn all this because my EQ  talks about ways to maintain the diabetes. I know now this plays a big part in the actor. I know what they can and cant eat. I show him meals that they can have. I can even show them what kind of sweets they can have and how much of it. This is one of my answers and I wanted to know what kind of snacks they can have. Like for example when we were learning about sugar he told me that dark chocolate is really good for liver, blood pressure, heart. They are some care of ingredients in it that makes it good. They say scientists are still testing it but it really good. Now they are saying coffee good for you. Also when I did my Excise I knew that cardio was the one that made me work out the most. It’s the one that gets your heart pumping. Out of all this learning I can go teach other my knowledge and show they can health is very important. I can show them how to read labels and what to cook in my presentation. I can show them no sugars tastes good as to no sugar that all.
